My first attempt at narrating a video! Please forgive the awkward moments (and the awkward attempts at a French accent).
Built in the early 1400s, the oldest house in Paris is located at 51 rue de Montmorency (in the Marais). Nicolas Flamel, a scribe, a bookseller, and, according to legend, a powerful alchemist, built this stone house. The house has a fascinating facade that incorporates script, symbols, and musical angels. Do these symbols form an alchemical sequence or is the facade purely decorative?
