A Recollection to Dine For

In a wonderful essay titled “Lunching on Olympus,” Steven L. Isenberg recalls his afternoons with W. H. Auden, E. M. Forster, Philip Larkin, and William Empson.  In Isenberg’s telling, these literary giants were gracious, generous, a tad eccentric, and extremely kind. Enjoy!
