Because of atrocious weather (a freak snowstorm crossing the Rockies!) the Empire Builder encountered an eight hour delay. We missed our connection to Pittsburgh. Consequently, Amtrak put us up in a fairly nice hotel in Chicago. I met this view the following morning.
