While out walking in Florence, I was caught in a ferocious thunderstorm. I was able to take cover at the Loggia dei Lanzi. I wandered out as the storm began to pass, and I found the city bathed in a most wondrous golden light. The Basilica of San Miniato al Monte (upper right) positively beams.
